Cooking is, other than running, thing I love to do the most.
The typical dishes for Hong Kongers, I mean the Cantonese one for a family, usually include soup (boiled for 2-3hrs, not a quick one), steamed fish, fried vegetable (with green leafs like choi sum, white cabbage), and a dish of meat. For whole family you could have all these in varieties, but when you live alone, or just want to have a simple meal for 2, what you can do with the familiar ingredients, and combine with a few new ideas to bring out the re-freshness?
If you wish to try, there is always idea easily found in the internet.
And I love to use what I have in my kitchen in preparing the meal, not to waste those lovely food you bought.
I found a couscous recipe which is ideal for my supper tonight, since I have beetroot/sweet potato/couscous ready! Why not giving a try? Weather is getting warmer now and it's the right time to start the salad season :)
(at the end I used pasta but not couscous ...)
